The objective of this certification project is to assist GST registrants who have no GST Audit File and who are using ERP and accounting software that are not compliant with GST Malaysia requirements. These group of GST registrants are usually conglomerates, MNC and special industry operators that cannot find a suitable accounting software for the purpose of GST compliance.
In order to assess and make compliance with GST regulations, the certification process will focus on the compliance assurance check lists. The check lists comprise questionnaires for internal controls at entity level, GST documentation and records keeping and reporting level on GST-03 Data Analytics. The check list is extended to the special GST schemes if applicable.
This certification consulting service is set to launch in May 2018.
